Why another Baptist movement?
In the last 50 years, Baptists in America have
became divided by personal preferences, extra-biblical convictions and divisive
personalities. These divisions were not over truth—we agreed on doctrine—even
exchanging letters of membership between churches.
Tragically, people with the
same doctrinal DNA ceased to work together for the cause they all gave lip
service as being priority. The result has been fragmentation, limited
effectiveness, duplication of effort, poor stewardship of resources and a
growing irrelevancy in a world of rapid change.
The iBaptist Network with its
concept of networking seeks to address these problems.
